Roof repairs
Roof repair for leaks, shingles, and flashing
A leak, a few missing shingles, or loose flashing may only need a focused repair. We inspect first and recommend what is best for your home—not the biggest job.

Roof repairs are the core of what we do at Pro Tech Exteriors and Repairs. If a smaller, targeted fix is the right answer, that is what we will recommend. You never need a large project to contact us.
Repairs we help with
Roof leak investigation
Water can travel before it shows up inside, so the stain on your ceiling isn't always directly under the problem. We trace the likely entry point before recommending a fix.
Missing or damaged shingles
Wind, age, and debris can lift, crack, or remove shingles. Replacing a small section is often a practical repair.
Flashing repairs
Flashing seals the joints around chimneys, walls, dormers, and skylights. Loose, bent, or failing flashing is a common source of leaks.
Roof penetrations and vents
Plumbing vent pipes, exhaust vents, and other openings have seals that can wear out over time.
Localized storm damage
After a storm, we can look at specific damaged areas and explain whether a targeted repair makes sense.
Common signs homeowners notice
- Water stains on ceilings or upper walls
- Drips or damp insulation in the attic
- Shingles or pieces of shingle in the yard or gutters
- Lifted, cracked, or curled shingles
- Loose or bent metal around a chimney, skylight, or wall
- Granules collecting at downspouts
These signs are worth a look, but they don't tell us the cause on their own. That's what an assessment is for.
What an assessment involves
- Talking through what you've noticed and when it started
- Looking at the affected area of the roof and, where accessible, related interior spots
- Identifying the likely source and any related concerns
- Explaining what we found in plain language, with recommended options
What affects repair scope and cost
- The size and location of the damaged area
- Roof pitch, height, and access
- The type and condition of existing materials
- Whether underlying layers or decking are affected
- Matching materials where possible
We explain the scope before any work is scheduled, so you know what you're approving.
When a repair may be appropriate
A repair is often a good fit when the problem is localized and the rest of the roof is in reasonable condition—for example, a single leak point, a small area of damaged shingles, or one section of failing flashing.
When broader work may need discussion
If we find widespread wear, repeated problems in several areas, or damage that extends beneath the surface, we'll tell you. In some cases rejuvenation may be worth assessing, and in others replacement may be the more practical choice. Either way, the decision is yours.
